School Profile:
Battles Elementary School is located in Santa Maria and serves students in grades transitional kindergarten through six following a traditional calendar. At the beginning of the 2024-25 school year, 769 students were enrolled, including 9.6% in special education, 66.6%qualifying for English Language Learner support, 0.4% foster youth, 33.4% homeless youth, 10.8% migrant education, and 97.7% socioeconomically disadvantaged.
